Listed below are the most commonly asked questions we get and
their answers. Obviously, we can not cover every question
we get asked on a page of a web site, so if you have one and it

covered here, please ask.

| What is the minimum
number of transformers I can order from W.I.C.C.?? |
There are no
minimum order restrictions. W.I.C.C. is a custom
manufacturer and as such, is setup to run any number of
transformers, from 1 to 1,000,000 (or more). |
| I did not see what I
needed in the catalog. How do I get it and what are the
charges involved? |
W.I.C.C. does not
charge for it's custom design & engineering services. Often, it is
simply a matter of modifying an existing design (we have over
8,000 to choose from), and if not, our engineers will gladly
assist you in designing a transformer which meets your
requirements - exactly. |
| I will need a couple
of sample transformers to use in our own prototype units prior
to going into production. How many sample units can I
have and how much will they cost? |
We do not (normally)
charge our customers for sample transformers. If you
need a standard catalog item, one or two samples can be
provided. If it is a custom designed part, we will
provide samples of the design throughout the design process,
up through final acceptance. |
| I need the
transformers "now", but you do not stock the parts.
How long will it take for me to get the parts I need? |
As a custom
manufacturing shop we work with a "lead time" which
generally averages around 1 to 2 weeks. The actual
manufacturing time will then vary depending on the number,
complexity and actual steps involved in building the part you
need. We do offer an expidite service (at additional
cost) which can often reduce that to just the time it takes to
manufacture the parts required. |
