W.I.C.C. Ltd. is a privately held, woman owned business and has been a premier manufacturer of custom designed, Industrial Quality, Toroidal Transformers, Inductors & related components, since it's founding in 1972.  Today, we have over 8,000 designs in our files to choose from and can modify an existing design, or design something completely new, to meet your needs.  Our facility routinely works with transformers from approximately .5" (1/2") though 30" in diameter (and beyond), with weights up to over 300lbs.  

W.I.C.C. is located in Washington, Illinois, approximately 10 miles east of Peoria.  (See Maps)  With our close proximity to Peoria and it's many world-wide manufacturing facilities, we have access to numerous manufacturing support services that enhance our ability to provide our customers with the best products and service available.  Couple this with being in a small town in central Illinois, with a cost effective, highly motivated and knowledgeable employee base and we can do more... for less. 

Our current facility provides over of 35,000 sq. ft. of production floor space, 3,000 sq. ft. of raw material storage, 1,500 sq. ft. of offices and over 2,500 sq. ft. of engineering and design area.  As a custom manufacturer of transformers, we specialize in building everything from one of a kind designs, in very small quantities, through large numbers of stock parts.  This diversity of production requires a very dynamic / fluid production facility, not only in layout, but in personnel usage.  Our people are some of the best in the world at utilizing and modifying numerous production processes, to ensure the greatest efficiency and on-time performance possible. 

This flexibility in production allows us to efficiently work on a number of sub-assemblies for our customers, often combining our transformers with other components they supply, providing additional efficiencies and cost savings to their sub-assemblies.   With a number of specialized pieces of equipment in our facility, such as our wire twisting machine (one of the few around), we can provide a wide range of finished product and assemblies, which can considerably reduce our customer's assembly times, for their products.  An excellent combination of manufacturing and service.

Our front office and management personnel have over 60 years of experience at W.I.C.C.  Most started off in the production area and worked their way into their current positions and have a thorough understanding of the company's needs. 

W.I.C.C. was originally founded under the name "Washington Industrial Coil Company".  In 1984, that was changed when the company was re-incorporated to just the initials "W.I.C.C. Ltd.".  Since that time, the name and initials "W.I.C.C." have taken on a variety of meanings.  Other than the obvious; as a supplier of the highest quality industrial toroidal transformers available, anywhere, we have come up with a few alternatives...  Since our employee base is mostly women, one favorite is:
